Adobe reader not printing in Windows 8

When I directly try to print a document from the Adobe reader on my Windows 8 Pro 64bit OS. When I select the print option I get a message that ‘printing doesn’t work’. I don’t get an error message or number. I have a HP DeskJet 1050 attached to my system with all the latest drivers. I can print documents from office 2013 but not from reader. What am I doing wrong?

    Nothing wrong!

Assuming the Windows8 pro, the latest de facto standard OS is freshly installed in your computer,

And all Device Drivers are latest and working,

    Printer driver is also functional,

Will you do a thing in form of uninstalling the "adobe reader" by the Windows uninstaller.

Download the latest Adobe Reader from Adobe Official Website, and clean install the software.

This should help as the printer helper of the existing reader is possibly not in action .
