Hello everyone, All settings of the Mouse have been changed on my windows 8 system, when I press a single click of my mouse then automatically double click function will be performed, this becoming a tough task while browsing and surfing. How to reset the mouse settings so that all the previous functions will be enabled, and I can be relaxed. I connected my mouse with other system, it is working fine, so there are no issues with the mouse, the settings needs to be restored. Please give me a path or method to do this. Thank you.

Re: How to reset the Mouse Settings on Windows 8 System?

To access MOUSE SETTINGS you need to enter the mouse control center.

Click Start, in the search box type MOUSE, click the mouse icon-notification next.

The mouse options menu will offer you every controll from left-right button settings, cursor speed control and many more.
But if you want to disable single click -double click action, then you may need to use another method.

Click COMPUTER--VIEW--OPTIONS--GENERAL--double click to apply radio button to be selected--APPLY--OK.

This should work things in your favor.
