How to run LG Blu Ray player on Windows 8 System using Windows Media Player?

I have bought a LG Blu Ray player and trying to connect it to my windows 8 computer but I could not connect. The reason is the player's drivers are not installing on windows 8 system. The drivers are LG wh10LS30, while installing these drivers my OS says windows cannot install the device drivers, try again. I have searched for another drivers which will be compatible on windows 8 but no joy, I heard that there is an alternate method to connect this LG Blu Ray player with windows 8 system using the windows media center. If anyone of you know the complete info regarding the procedure and method to connect in this manner, then please let me know of it. Thank you.

    Hi,
You cannot run LG BLU RAY VIDEO PLAYER using your WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER on your system.
The thing you can do is DOWNLOAD WINDOWS MEDIA CODEC PACK.
It contains codecs to play BLU RAY DVD in windows 8 system.
You can get it from here:
