Media driver missing issue in Windows 8

Whenever I try to install the Windows 8 64bit OS in my PC I get the error message as “Media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD, USB or Hard disk driver..” What should be done if we get this message? I just wanted to resolve the problem and install the OS but I am not able to do it now.

This problem will mainly show up if the setup file which you have loaded in the DVD/USB drive is corrupted and no longer it can be used for installing Windows 8. Some of the points which you need to note down for fixing the problem is as follows,

-> Just try to burn the .iso image in some good clean DVD which as less damage and even then you are facing the issue? then the problem is with the .iso image which might not get downloaded properly. Try to download it again as the file might be corrupted.

-> If you have any other device attached to your computer like external hard disk, pen drive etc. just remove them and boot only with the disk on your system to start the Windows 8 installation.

-> If you are trying in USB and facing this issue then try to burn the ISO image in the disk drive and try to start the installation as sometimes USB won’t be deducted properly for the installation.

-> None helped? Then try to go for the update instead of fresh installation of Windows 8 which should help you to resolve the problem which in sense you won’t be getting the error anymore.
