Right-Click in windows 8 responds slowly

I have recently installed windows 8 Release Preview in my laptop. Here it would be important to inform you that my laptop fulfills the minimum requirements to install windows 8. Everything is working fine but I have noticed that right click on desktop responds a bit slower than its previous version of windows i.e windows 7. I have asked this question in some forums as well and some experts suggested me to remove all keys except "New" after going to the registry HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex\Con textMenuHandler\.But this trick has also failed. Is there any other solution for the same?

    sir...
see that number of aplications on your desktop are less..
this will definetly reduce the speed of ur pc....
sir.....also check some of the add-on applications like speed accelerator for your pc.....

---> Because of right click option not working.

    ---> Any software issues.

    ---> Due to virus problems.

+++ Remedies if right click not responding :

    1. Once restart the system and check now.

    2. Update the software and check .

    3. Delete the virus files if any exists in your system.

Even if not working then definitely hardware problem so contact the windows 8 technician.

Re: Right-Click in windows 8 responds slowly

Here are the reasons for your issue,

    1:windows defender

    2:Crashed folders

3:UN-read content or write protected content

    Solutions,

1:If you are trying to open software's folder or games folder then this problem will persist because your windows defender will scan your content before you access those content!

SO, if are trying to access .exe content make sure you have turned off your windows defender!

2:IF you are trying to access crashed folders then same problem will persist!

Make sure you folder doesn't crashed during copying or moving!

3:Make sure your accessing content or folder have write protected properties!

If your folder contains write protected option then their might be some difficulty in accessing right click!

    That's it over!

Re: Right-Click in windows 8 responds slowly

you need to follow these steps to solve your issue perfectly

----->make sure whether you enable your windows defender or not

----->if you enable your defender then you will get slow response from the system

----->if you are trying an .exe file to open then windows defender will not allow you until it scans that .exe file completely

----->if you want to stop windows defender then go to windows defender and then turn off the real time protection

----->may be you are trying to access a virus attacked folder!

------->may be you are trying to access an un authorized folder which requires permissions from the admin to do

if you check the above mentioned issues in your system you will be able to solve your issue

    end

Re: Right-Click in windows 8 responds slowly

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say.................

1.Firstly you check the speed of your ram is upto the mark to run Windows 98 in your computer.

2.You may have installed lot of unwanted software's in your computer so they are tending your system to work slow.

3.You try to avoid the games which use much of your memory.

If you want to speed up the mouse functioning then do as i say..........

1.Press 'Windows Kay + R' and the run command will open.

    2.There you type 'regedit.exe'.

3.then the Registry Editor will open.

4.Then you go to the 'HIKEY_LOCAL_USERS'.

5.Later you go to the option 'Control Panel'.

6.then you click on 'Desktop' and on right side you can see many files will appear.

7.there you double click on the file with name 'MenuShowDelay'.

8.Set the value '400' it is the optimized value if you want more speed you have to decrease the value less than 400.

9.Then click 'OK' and restart your computer.

That's it by doing as i said you can solve your problem.

    Have a nice day...........

Re: Right-Click in windows 8 responds slowly

Windows 8 RP is a beta and can behave irrationally as there are many bugs in it.

Windows 8 full Operating System is very fast, in fact microsoft designers claim a boot and exit in less than 15 seconds, and they are proved to be right when claimed such.

Anyway click Start--settings--control panel--device manager--mice and ....--driver--update driver, and install new driver for the mouse.
Click Start, in the Search Box type Mouse, and press Enter.
Click Mouse, from the menu test the Right-Left-Center button activity and speed. Lower the mouse sensitivity by adjusting the slider. Exit.

Check wheather the problem is solved or not.

Re: Right-Click in windows 8 responds slowly

this might be because of excess use of programs at a same time

or may be a virus attack

so scan your system completely by a licensed antivirus

and delete or uninstall all the unwanted apps games and other files from your device

now restart it and see the changes

    if the problem still remains

    then open the control panel

then click on hardware and sounds option

then click on the mouse option

then go to the the pointer tab

adjust the speed accordingly and click on apply and ok

    then its done
